YOUR ROLE:
As a Junior IT Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting internal systems and developing components for both infrastructure and application layers. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want to apply what they've learned and grow into a full-time technology career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research & Innovation:
Support in researching, designing and deploying new solutions/ systems based on business needs (including exploring cutting-edge open-source solutions)
System Development & Integration:
Support in developing powerful components for internal systems (API/Webhooks development) with vendor collaboration when needed
Technical Support & Problem Solving:
Work as internal support/helpdesk for internal systems with vendor support when appropriate
Customize reports and handle queries (basic SQL experience required)
Support Microsoft Office 365-related tasks (SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Collaborate with L2 support teams and solution vendors to resolve complex issues
Web Development Projects:
Participate in exciting web development projects that directly impact business operations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
MUST HAVE - Essential Requirements:
Critical thinking, Problem-solving mindset & Can-do attitude
Fast-learner and willing to learn new technologies when required
Can work both independently and in a team-work environment with strong communication skills
Final-year student or recent graduated in IT or related technical majors (Non-IT background will be considered only with proven IT knowledge, skills and experience, on a case-by-case basis)
Hands-on experience with web development experience through school projects, freelance work, or personal initiatives. Familiarity with programming/ scripting languages
English communication skills - Able to read and understand technical documents in English with no translation reliance
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience in responsive web development and deploying
Experience using at least JavaScript, PHP and WordPress-based plugins
Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands

NICE TO HAVE - Bonus points:
Previous internship or freelance experience in IT/ web development
Comfortable supporting internal users and working with external vendors
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD
Experience with modern frameworks (React, [protected info], Laravel, etc.)
